What ya guys think about that May 31ist tornado killing 3 of the stars from "Storm Chasers" on the discovery.
Crazy thing is the crew that died was the most cautious and safe of them all. I heard they found their car dam near 50% of its original size.

Those guys were idiots.
We have drone tech, why don't the stupid fuckers use it? Just fly the thing right in with complete control. Their insurance company should not pay their policies off.

No shit man I 100% agree
Seems like a 500 dollar drone flying into it would be easier than depending on roads and having an escape/attack route

It's part of human nature to want to explore. Why put a person into orbit or land a man on the moon when you can just send a drone there too?

What if tornadoes were your Trakanon?

That's kinda how I see it. The passion it takes to track trak and a tornado rather similar although the variance on a tornado is redic. The GM IRL doesn't want poopsocking.

the stormchasers sat in oklahoma for 48+ hours underneath the tornado touchdown point waiting for it.
I saw a report that the last thing any of them said as they were being hauled up into it. They all 3 yelled in unison "Storm Chasers FTE!! Storm Chasers FTE!!"

I can't imagine the dedication required to spend that much time in Oklahoma. They deserev whatever that tornado dropped.
Oh, I guess it was them. It dropped them.:(

Don't :( The guy finally got to cross off the last item off his bucket list:
Wank off in the eye of a tornado - check

These weren't just a bunch of guys being crazy and running into a storm. What they did served purpose-- about as much or more purpose than any current soldier. And they died heroes for a much nobler purpose.

Dan Haggerty?
Timothy Treadwell. (stage name)
There's a 2005 Werner Herzog documentary about it. Pretty entertaining. The guy was a loon ball, claimed he was out there "protecting the grizzlies", even though it was a national sanctuary and they were protected by national laws lolz. Anyways he basically got away with living with bears for 13 summers but on da 13th summer, one bear was especially hungry and he made a good dinner out of Treadwell.
"Grizzly Man" is the name of the documentary and it's worth a watch. There's some unintentional hilarious moments. It's on netflix.

It's true they did a lot of the good in the name of weather science, these guys just didnt just chase tornadoe's in a van with a a camera...
The the grizzly guy got what he had coming, too bad it took 13 years

I read somewhere that the tornado expanded from a mile wide to 2.6 miles wide in about 30 seconds. Would be tough to get out if you were within a mile of it when that happened I suppose.
