Straight up, if u sound like an idiot stop posting in Rnf. If you make this long elaborate post with
SS and bells and whistles to try and make TMO look bad, your a faggot. And you should of been guild
kicked right after your first post.
If you want to forum warrior like tiggles, eccezan, alarti, jeremy then go join those sad people.
They have "fun" doing what they do. Step outside, you've already beat them, anyone that has their
priorities straight, doesn't have time to post on every thread. Your better than them, by not even
looking at it.
All you other mother fuckers. This guild was built on a foundation of doing more with less. All our
first kills were done with less than any other guild has previously done, ever on this server. Your
worried about only having 24 for trak? grow some balls, at first we would fucking love getting 24 for
trak. Get your fucking clickies, log out where your supposed to, and keep dominating. Us 12 > their
12, no matter what. And if you dont think your more prepared over their best. Then gtfo. This guild
wasnt made to let a bunch of lazy mother fuckers in. You here? then you want to be part of the best
or join another guild. No room for slack anymore.
Talk to the raid leaders about that engaging quicker. I'd love to see us jump the mobs a lot faster.
I'd also like to see us lock our Vent down so that when we say we're about to engage, Quickfingers
isn't in our Vent listening and telling his guild!
As for posting on RnF. Who cares? It doesn't effect the server perception of FE (acting like a
dumbass/douche in the game does). RnF are the same trolls who go there and post everyday. If
Tasslehof or anyone else has fun doing that at work, then so be it. I chose to merge Chaos/Acyrid
with FE, because the philosophy of the guild was to go after TMO at all costs and beat them at their
own game no matter what. The do more with less was a byproduct of the fact that we had people who
actually knew how to play their toons instead of PLing or buying 500 alts and parking them
everywhere. This is what we do now, but seems to be necessary to compete w/ TMO though. Back to beat
them at all costs.
To some extent I agree, but some of the stuff we've had members do goes way beyond simply
"forumquesting at work". I don't follow it all that closely, but I do know real life pictures,
personal information, phone numbers, and places of employment have gotten dragged into the crossfire.
When we do that shit to them, it just gives them carte blanche to do the same back to us. I'm sure
there are a few people in the guild who don't mind that sort of thing, but I personally would have a
big problem with Tiggles or Alarti calling me at work or making my private info public. It is totally
one of those eye for and eye making the whole world blind type situations.
Personally I think anything we do to antagonize TMO reflects negatively on the guild and our efforts
to varying degrees. Tassle's posts certainly aren't as harmful as someone dedicating a site to
Eccezan, but I do think that for the average, non-drama motivated individual, our bickering with them
doesn't leave either side looking particularly good. The bigger issue though is how the antagonizing
efforts of some of our members could potentially lead to members not involved in that whole ordeal
getting roped into this stuff. I go out of my way to be cordial and friendly to everyone when we're
not actively competing for mobs, including TMO members, so it is kind of discouraging when I get shit
on by someone in TMO due to the combination of (a) having guildies that are dicks to them and (b)
them not being able to differentiate between individuals within a group.
I also think that winning is far more enjoyable when you know that your competition can't even
console themselves by thinking you're a dick. If I can kick someone's ass at something and still have
them think that I'm a swell guy after doing it, to me that is the best type of victory.
Tmo gets more apps from rnf weekly than we have gotten in a month.
You have the best posts. I couldn't have said it better myself.
Tassle, I like you a lot so keep that in mind when I say that I completely disagree with you on this.
I would love to know where you are getting your information as to TMO getting a bunch of good
recruits because of how they act in RNF. I personally app'd to FE and not TMO for the exact opposite
reason. I do not want to be a party to that type of behavior. I cringe every time I see a guild
member post in RNF. It hurts every time I see a guild member fall victim to /ooc and /say wars with
TMO during raids.
I see it as very immature behavior. The best way to deal with immature behavior is definitely not to
participate. The more they troll us in RNF, the more they are obviously concerned about us doing
well. The opposite is also true. When we banter back with them, it makes us look desperate...
regardless of what is said.
Just my $.02
Chris
I guess its a matter of opinion, but to me letting TMO control the public opinion/perception is just
weak. If you don't think they get more apps per week/month then we do then idk what raids you've been
coming to. If you think people don't look at us poorly because of things tMO says/claims/posts, ask
divinity, full circle, or taken members what they think of FE. Sure, it probably would be better to
just ignore them...but in OUR current state as a guild, to do so would just be an admission of their
claims.
In other words, they're saying we are dying as a guild...and to simply ignore that when we
technically have died a bit just goes to show they are right. We've gotten half as many mobs in the
past 2 months as we did the first few months I was around, I can see a general change in
motivation/care in progressing amongst members. I don't see any officers actively recruiting, or any
raids being hosted in order to gear current apps/bring new ones in, I don't see any recruitment going
on at all really. I see lower and lower numbers at raids every week, its getting to be alarming.
Hating tmo gives us a common thread that currently to me is missing in this guild. I log on and log
off immediately pretty much every day because theres nothing going on, no groups to be had (except
the rare occasion I manage to weasel my way into one), and no real ties to bind us. Sure, killing
mobs feels good and boosts morale but we aren't currently killing mobs often enough to keep the
players we have interested...or killing enough mobs to lure free agents in. It becomes a problem at
some point, and at what point do we decide to take measures against it?
Let them play their games. They'll bring themselves down on their own. (LOL) They are miserable
people and there is no reason to stoop to their level. I know its comedy sometimes and real hard not
to post, but we just have to hold back. The RnF forum was dead for a couple of days until Eccozan
started his shit again. He would have looked like a giant asshole if people had only ignored him.
Throw random Buffs and ports out there and just be cool to people, including TMO's. Their people will
see it and start to reflect on their leadership pretty quick.
Have we abandoned dojo?
I was looking for the spawn timer spreadsheet but can't find it. Anyway, I believe dojo spawned today
and there was no batphone nor did I see anything in guild. It slipped my mind as well. But I'm
wondering what is our status on dojo? have we abandoned him entirely? Seems silly considering we just
started doing more sky raiding... then no batphone for dojo or anything. I mean, this guy doesn't
need to be tracked, there's no variance... he's a timed spawn so I don't see what's so hard about us
getting up there...
FTE and GM rulings
I know i have been gone for a bit due to RL and business trips but i have tried to stay in the loop
with things as Tanasg is my room mate. Now that I'm back and going to start being at raids again I
wanted to kinda get a better idea of how things are going.
Inny 5-20-13 Observation.
FE zones in to TMO \ FC joint pull. TMO \ FC begin the wipe, FE runs out of zone in and prepares to
camp out, Inny around 60%. Inny reaches 53% and we have 16 FE people in zone, 1 TMO and 2 FC. We have
the advantage and numbers to finish his ass off but instead choose to camp for the reset.
Now i understand it wasn't our FTE but I also understand that TMO and FC now don't have a raid force
in zone to kill the mob and will wipe. WHY do we have to wait for a reset. I asked Tanasg this and he
said the GMs would rule against us due to FTE rules. In the end Inny resets, we start to recover, TMO
zones a second force in and kills the mob.
Here is what I'm wondering. Why not kill Inny and let the GMs decide? make sure we have time stamped
screen shots of the Inny kill and the lack of raid force in the zone. I feel our focus on FTE and
making the sure mob resets and "playing by the rules" while other guilds are snipping and training us
and not seeing action taken on them.
Again I have been gone for a little over a month and was wondering if some one could weigh in on this
as it seems the times have changed in my short month afk.
in short. Take a chance, kill the mob, take the look and put the final decision in the hands of the
GMs every time. Make them "do work son!"
