I've almost just returned back to EQ since Kunark got released here on P99.
I simply got bored of the classic world on P99, but returned about a month ago.
My main reason for returning to P99 was due to kunark release, and mainly to discover the world of Kunark I didn't manage to see on live such as VP!

I agree because Ascension and TMO were the competition. Then what happened was "ascension" lost most of its good members (although still had some quality ones). Them TMO (who were nobodys - never saw them compete on one mob) Then all of a sudden about 90 members were sitting on the trak ledge.

It was a sight to behold... 35 members of IB log in to kill trak and 85-90 members of TMO. Of course IB got the kill but yes our competition - TMO - with the exception of 8-9 members in ascension was full of fail.

People instructed them to just follow IB if they didn't know the way.

When TMO and Fusion merged everyone knew it was going to be a super zerg and most acknowledged that those players that sucked terribly and were too casual were going to get left behind. They went from 600 members to 150 active, to 120 active and so on.

By the time IB had left the server over Uthgaard/Amelinda stuff and VD had went through it's slow, agonizing demise TMO was probably down to under 100 active members and could institute an actual recruitment policy that wouldn't hamstring them and further help "trim the fat".

I'm sure today TMO has a decently tough application process and a large portion of high-end raiding talent and experience on their roster, just as IB had when they were the best show in town. Don't let them fool you though, we all know how bad they were during that time and just how they started to down targets with their multi-hundred zerg fest and GM awarded loot.

I think that's why some of them are still so bitter, and likewise why some IB are still bitter at their antics (zeelot was inventing a new one each week it seemed).

That got long, anyway the point is TMO was god-awful then, and they required a zerg of epic proportions to ever accomplish anything. That's probably why they still feel bitter about thing, they couldn't do it on their own.

IB skill set included hooping for loot. Which TMO then countered causing IB to get the item nerfed. TR and later IB/VD were running around wiht 80-90 players while TMO continued to dominate the raid scene. IB then got super butthurt and had a large percentage of their guild deleved for SEQ use. With more asshatery antics Perun (SEQ Map artist) then plooted the server first CT skin.

TMO within in months of deciding to compete on the raid scene took out a much more established, much better geared raid force.

This is not true. While the majority did lack both levels and resist gear, many (India for example) did not even know their way around old school zones. We had no idea how to kill Spiroc Lord. We spent months attempting to pull him and the vanquishers to island 4 using monks and bards to hepl split the lord from the vanquishers. This is an example of not knowing what the fuck you're doing.

More made up dis-information. TMO were the ones who brought hooping to the raid scene. TR then began hooping every target in an attempt to get them banned. I also highly doubt TMO got the majority of Trakanon kills from July 2011 - February 2012, and I know they lost the majority of overall targets.

Given what I just posted, how did TMO "take out" anything. TMO was formed in late 2010 btw, not late 2011 as people are so apt of forgetting. The entire point people were bitter is because of a 600 man zerg. TR/IB was still rolling and killing shit with 20s and 30s.

Are you disputing we (early 2011 TMO) had terrible players getting lost on their way to naggy lair or that we (again , early 2011 TMO) had terrible strategies that involved trying to split Spiroc Lord vanquishers off and pull to island 4 for a month.

Contary to what you think, guilds dont "take down" other guilds lol. You're playing on a PVE server.. the only things guilds take down is NPCs.

I know the people with thousands of post will look at this as an excuse. But the truth is they just want to drag ex-IB into this argument, because TMO needs someone to feel like they've lost or they can't validate their time spent 'winning.'

But what we have here is a failure to communicate. TMO defines winning as being the second guild to kill content, but to kill it for years and years and years on end. I guess it's their way of compensating being 2nd.

I guess IB defined winning as getting our names/guild beside just about every server first, putting some real money in our pocket, and then...moving on.

Either way, true story, Trakanon died for the first time on this server more than 24 months ago. The world dragons, 22 months. VP ~ 18. Anyways my toon name was Minten - Im the guy who left Ascension right before the merger because ascension was a joke. I was leading a raid right before the merger on a server reset. Our first target was innoruuk - since we couldnt think about trak yet. Anyways - half the guild had no idea how to get to innoruuks ramp .. as I had a monk train pass the ramp we were all suppost to run behind and go after the ashenbones at top of ramp - for a clear snipe of inno. It ended with some peoples corpses being on the other side of the zone lol (not sure were they were running). I left a week later for TR. This is half the guild that turned into TMO. Not that some werent AWESOME players.. but most were simply bad.

I think you should post the info. Don't wait for them to ask you for it, or they never will. The fine players of this server deserve to know about this cheater.

The fact Stealin, one of TMO's top VP "trainers" and dragon pullers was banned for MQ use is worse than perun being banned for SEQ use. All Perun did was draw a map every now and then.

I guess all those threads where people were claiming they saw Stealing warping around and not dying with all of those VP mobs on him were true. We gave him the benifit of the doubt at the time, I'm glad the GMs didn't.

Simple facts.... You guys did well.. against bad competition. With a real challenge you folded like blades of grass.

You couldnt beat TMO on live... you couldnt do it here. Look for hollow TMO Velious server firsts. At least those encounters are 1000x tougher than Kunark content.

I agree because Ascension and TMO were the competition. Then what happened was "ascension" lost most of its good members (although still had some quality ones). Them TMO (who were nobodys - never saw them compete on one mob) Then all of a sudden about 90 members were sitting on the trak ledge.

It was a sight to behold... 35 members of IB log in to kill trak and 85-90 members of TMO. Of course IB got the kill but yes our competition - TMO - with the exception of 8-9 members in ascension was full of fail.

-Both the past two days raids not a single one of their leaders stepped up to do anything. The first Day was admittedly mostly me, none of them really sent me tells about anything despite me trying to gauge feedback and double checking if things are ok etc. The second day I on purpose didnt do shit and just observed. We ended up having Eashan, Elaida, and Zilo do most of the work...again with no TMO leadership trying to do anything. When the decision had to be made to move somewhere or take a break etc...noone could make the decision. Elaida eventually sent me a tell looking for guidance and then made the call after we spoke.
-They definately have the attitude that they are hanging their hat on their past EQ live accomplishments despite achieving nothing here so far. The leader of the guild currently was NOT the leader on the live guild.
-Currently have too many chiefs (officers, 7 to 8)
-Inquired with the server guides, there have been several TMO disciplinary issues already (2 boxing, training, KSing). According to what this guide says the guild chat that he read, he says it seemed that other people in the guild knew about it and were ok with it also. (Dont kill them for this...thats one guides interpretation)

From my observations so far, FE in its prime was better than IB. I am hoping FE's prime is not over yet, but I am seeing a steep decline. Fix that shit boys!

But, I'd say I pulled down $8,000-10,000 from must my platinum. I never sold any accounts, or anyone else's gear (except Skie and Kalrei, with permission). We were always the 3 richest guys on the server (debatable with Getsome/Trystych combo). In fact, I even gave my guild items to Hammer (to hold) when I bounced, Blood Ember Legs, Bladestopper, Puppet Strings, Red Dragonscale BP etc.

Xz probably doubled that with whatever he sold. Getsome has never sold anything.

My middle man made probably $2,000, for handling the day to day. Amelinda $300 or so for looking the other way.

At the time, TMO members were not properly conditioned in the ways of free for all VP. It took some time before the average member was ready for it without risk of burnout. The tactics employed to train us in VP that FE is currently using is much more threatening than anything most IB tried; IB just had the luxury of having easier average member targets to pick off because of inexperience or AFK.

Adriana is may be comparable to Manguadi at this point, but Manguadi has learned some pretty solid tricks to fuck with us. They are dealing with a different TMO who is used to constantly getting trained and griefed. TR/IB, VD, BDA, FE have all been coming at us since the agreement was forcibly broken by IB, which was ages ago.

I know I've logged in to my account before and after those days and it only flagged it once per IP... hilarious. Just so happens to line up with a few others that got falsely flagged... hilarious.

Hopefully Rogean will get around to fixing it, now that the situation has been sent up the ladder to him. Just a shame for the person playing that it was sent up when it was and mine didn't get unbanned with some of the others beforehand.

Either:
A) Somebody went through the trouble to figure out your 3 IP addresses, hack into the database to flag your account, and get you banned, after you publibly said you were stepping out from the game.
or
B) You've always been a cheater, and this is the 2nd time you get banned for shady stuff.

I've never been banned for shady stuff. The other time my account was banned is because of something someone else said, Uth banned it and then removed it later.

If I was always a cheater, my account would have been flagged more than 1 single time on each of the 3 IPs I use over ~36 hours (around the same time when a few others got falsely flagged).

I'm sure they would have checked my account/s before I apped and became a guide as well.

But, I'd say I pulled down $8,000-10,000 from must my platinum. I never sold any accounts, or anyone else's gear (except Skie and Kalrei, with permission). We were always the 3 richest guys on the server (debatable with Getsome/Trystych combo). In fact, I even gave my guild items to Hammer (to hold) when I bounced, Blood Ember Legs, Bladestopper, Puppet Strings, Red Dragonscale BP etc.

Xz probably doubled that with whatever he sold. Getsome has never sold anything.

My middle man made probably $2,000, for handling the day to day. Amelinda $300 or so for looking the other way.

But yea, I didn't move anyone else's items, so that's all just me. Everyone else you suspect either did it threw someone else or did it themselves.

Like I said, you guys are picking up the leftovers of a game that's been beaten. You keep busting an empty Pinata and not understanding that it's been done before, when it was full of something.
