Let it be known TMO has the most number of banned accounts once again and has been raid suspended more than any other guild on the server.

Best part was when everyone complained about him in his app thread about how he's a spazz and how he boxed and tried to sue the server etc.
Then the officers where like but guys he's on ALL THE TIME.
BAM full membered
Just like neo nazi orgen you can be a shit bag but if you track mobs for FE and hate TMO you will get tagged.

I like my luls just as much as the next guy (I tip my hat to QF who has delivered quite a few recently), but I think the forum's climate and tone is starting to step on the toes of people that don't really deserve it. I'm not going to white knight the usual crowd of mouth breathing RNF warriors from both sides, they're big boys and jumped in willingly, so they get whatever happens.
But it's a shitty thing when your guild is collapsing or experiencing set backs, and I don't think the average FE member who just wants to raid needs this much dirty laundry aired from what should be a safe place for them to speak their minds. Posting the "thanks for all the fish" I guess it's not too bad. Good knife twist at the guys who like to RnF back and forth. Posting Multania's membership poll? Sure, I guess she/he has a bad rep with the whole lawsuit thing.
I just wonder what's next. It's not some huge moral transgression to keep on posting these things, but I think it's more painful for the average FE member than it is the neckbearded RnF master you're trying to harm. Some say that RnF is "meaningless" or that it is "just in fun" and while that may be true for the person saying it, it's often the opposite for someone who wanted no part of it but has now been dragged down as a casualty.
I just hope we have a little bit of tact going forward and that we all have a little bit more respect for the average guy on both sides.
The muumuu wearing crowd can continue to ram each other with their rascal scooters and throw their special dialing wands at each other, but let's keep from being disrespectful towards the privacy and trust of the non-involved bystander that just wants to play EQ competitively with his friends.

I certainly can't control how I'm perceived, but it is my hope that my posts are taken as genuine. I honestly do believe what I said. I believe that much of what happens in RnF is often unwarranted and disrespectful towards people who might deserve better. Sure, I'll get into fights with people, and I laugh like hell when Tiggles or someone drops a serious one-liner, but no matter what, I mean what I say.
I don't begrudge that you think I'm insincere. From your point of view, it might be reasonable to think that, but I'd hope that my track record says otherwise.
For example: http://www.project1999.org/forums/showpost.php?p=575245&postcount=99
You have to admit, if I'm trolling, I'm definitely taking a long-term approach.

I guess I can see how that might be objectionable. I meant no offense by it, perhaps I should have said "But it's a shitty thing when your guild is experiencing internal strife or set backs, and I don't think the average FE member who just wants to raid needs this much dirty laundry aired from what should be a safe place for them to speak their minds." Do I know for a fact that FE is "collapsing?" Of course not, however it does appear (to me at least) that there are a few problems, and I know first hand that it can ruin a person's day when an organization they are committed to is experiencing difficulty.
Getsome,
Yeah I said it. I thought it was funny, and I'd say it again. First, as is a matter of public record, Visceral already has an Eye of Innoruuk and simply needs the herb from Chardok (See http://www.project1999.org/forums/showpost.php?p=916299&postcount=10)
Secondly, it's guildchat. I suspect that my personal opinion of Visceral isn't too hard to guess, and if you were listening in on vent you'll note that I specifically suggested that we hit Sev and then Fear and not hate. If you have trouble finding it, it was right after I suggested that we do not do hate due to the trains that would doubtlessly happen. The difference between what I said and what I think should not be said is that one is a public affair that can demonstrably affect an undeserving person. The other is a joke I made to my friends in private. I make no apologies for that.
You can go shopping for moral indignation elsewhere.

It's ok Xasten, nobody really sees you as a troll or thinks you're playing the long game in RnF with your posts.
We all think you're built of high moral fiber and that your posts and the concern for others you show in them are 100% genuine and that you have nothing to gain by making said posts.
You're not a weasly-wordsmith who always has his thesaurus at ready and attempts to batter people with his self-assumed greater intelligence and vocabulary. In fact we celebrate your very existence for being such a down to earth and well reasoned fellow.
Maybe we like you so much because you only have one forum account and despite your guild publicly upsetting you in RnF on countless occasions you stick to them and remain loyal because there is a "net positive impact" for your own self.
You are a true hero and inspiration to all who play this game, we can never truly thank you enough for your enlightening opinion and though provoking discourse.
Please accept my apology.

It's pretty obvious that RnF crawlers take things way too far. Asking them to stop will do nothing but worsen the matter. Continuing to contribute to this section of the forums, despite your attempt to sound compassionate and genuine, will only lead to your own downfall, as there is only so much wiggle room in this pile of shit before you get it on yourself and start to spread it around.
This external aspect of the game is mostly un-moderated. Add in the aspect of anonymity and surely enough you will have things getting out of control. However, nobody is forced to read through here. The average player is welcome to go about his measly xp crawl in peace without knowing 1/10th of what occurs in this forum section.
TLDR - Opt out of RnF if the drama bothers you.

It's ok Xasten, nobody really sees you as a troll or thinks you're playing the long game in RnF with your posts...
I have to admit that, after looking at a lot of my posts, I might come across as whining from time to time. I know that, and when I do, I'm ripe for being made fun of. That's fine; if nothing else, it'll keep me sharp. It'll help remind me to stay focused on what's important.
This, all of this, is about putting your best foot forward.
I don't come here looking for some sort of false intellectual validation. (Don't get me wrong, who doesn't love to be told they're right?) I come here because I believe there's something to be gained from engaging a community head-on. While RnF has its regulars, there's a lot of lurking, and the community takes note of what people say and do when they're in a relatively consequence free environment.
I value TMO as an organization and I'm grateful for the friends I've made within it. I'm going to do what I think is right to help TMO, and the server, prosper. Even if it means upsetting some people within or outside of my guild. I know that your post was sarcasm of the highest sort, but such things do help me keep perspective. So, in a way, thanks. I know that I'm not, in your words, "built of high moral fiber," nor do I expect to be. I just aim to call things as I see them as honestly as I can. Whatever form that takes. Sure, I'll have setbacks. From a PR or political standpoint, Getsome got me good today. I can explain it all I want and give context, but it still might make me look hypocritical. While I stand by what I said, I recognize that it can be used in a way that works against what I want to do. Live and learn I suppose.
You can prod at me, you can call me out, and you can rage all you want. But you'll never change what I do. Actions are what matter, and while I'm not perfect, I'm going to do my level best to help my guild and this server because I value and respect those who make them a better place. Be they publicly requesting that my guildmates exercise a bit more restraint, or publicly admitting that Maverix was right to question my motives, actions are the building blocks of lasting positive change. Bardalicious hit the nail on the head. I can't expect to come here and not get dirty. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Building a house can be hard dirty work, but laying a foundation is important.
Provoke me, poke holes in my arguments, and call me out. These will only bring me back to my roots. At the end of the day, though I may fail, I will have done my best to build something respectable.
Can you say the same?

You're still just a good german.

You're trying a bit too hard Xasten.
It's kind of obvious for everybody you're far from the reasonable and moral person you're trying to paint of yourself here in RnF (cf screenshot). That's what Shade explained pretty much in a sarcastic way.
