I'm not huge into the whole EC thing, but I look at the Wiki Auction tracker as a guideline to follow, not the law.

Many times you will see people trying to tamper with the prices (multiple 1pp entries, or insanely high entries to skewer the average).

Either way - it's a guideline, not the letter of the law.

Here is a great example! Book of Scale. Most recent posts are from TMO members asking 30k+, Ecc was selling book in EC for 40k! Ohh but the wiki says 15k... Why is it so ridiculous for TMO to charge 30k today compared to the 15k tag it gets on the wiki? Who runs this economy? Hmm!
