CSR Staffing Updates! |

I wanted to touch base and share some updates regarding the CSR staffing on our P99 servers.
2024 was a very busy and successful year for the CSR team. Our small-but-mighty group of volunteer Guides, Senior Guides and GM’s closed over 25,000 petitions. We also wrote, partnered with the P99 dev team, and executed multiple special events across the servers, including the Halloween and Holiday seasonal events. And much, much more!
However, even with all of the incredible work by the team, we are still in a place where our petition queues are backed up longer than we would like. Additionally, many of our most complex petitions (for example, raid petitions) wind up delayed due to bottlenecks, partly due to a “decision by committee” with a larger group than is actually needed.
To help try to tackle some of these challenges, I am implementing a new staff position of “Server GM” and “Server Sr Guide”. These are members of our CSR leadership team who will have primary accountability to a single server. This is different from the current model, where every member of the leadership team (GM’s & Seniors) focus on everything. These leaders will be responsible for all petition types within their server, including escalations, reimbursements, raid petitions, and more.
The new server leadership teams will consist of:
P99 Blue:
Server GM: Visceryn
Server Sr. Guide: Razlog
P99 Green:
Server GM: Blistig
Server Sr. Guide: Vordae
Support for P99 Red will be continue to be shared across both teams for the time being.
Official rules and policies will continue to be aligned across the servers, so I will maintain ownership of these at the Lead GM level. I will also continue to be available as a final point of appeal, when necessary.

We are currently looking for new applicants to the P99 Guide Program.
The P99 Guide Program is made up of volunteer players who help serve as the first line of player support on our servers. Guides assist players with a wide range of issues, including:- Decayed Corpse Summons
- Item Reimbursements
- IP Exemptions
- Camp Dispute Arbitration
- Play Nice Policy Enforcement
- Forum & Discord Moderation
- Running Dynamic In-Game Events
- And more!
To be eligible, applicants must have accounts free of any recent disciplinary action and, of course, have a desire to help the P99 community continue to grow and thrive. Guides are asked to provide at least 10 hours per week of service and cannot Guide on a server on which they actively play. For example, if a candidate actively plays on Green, they may apply to be a Guide on Blue.
If you're interested, please visit the Guide Applications subforum and fill out an application! You can do this by copying the application contained in the "Announcement" on the top of the subforum into a new thread. Rest assured, your responses will only be seen by the server's Senior Guides and above.
If you've applied to the program in the past, please reply to your post to let us know that you're still interested. Additionally, the questions have been slightly updated, so please review and update anything missing from your original application.

The Snowdrift Elves Arrival - P99 Winter Event |

The snowdrift elves, a lost race of elves known for their affinity to the cold and their desire to bring cheer to all, have found their way to Norrath for the season! Find them throughout the lands and learn more about their culture. Participate in their events during this holiday season, but be warned, while stories of the Snowdrift elves are few, what is known is that they will not be around for long!
Event Specifics:
The snowdrift elves have been hard at work! To bring a festive spirit to the citizens of Norrath, they have hidden gifts amongst the enemies of Norrath, and players who defeat non-trivial enemies have a chance to receive those gifts!
Players can choose to open gifts themselves or give the gifts to others, based on who is targeted when the gift is opened. Keep in mind what the Snowdrift elves stand for when deciding if you will open these gifts… For the best gifts are always those shared with others!
Be on the lookout for Snowdrift elves throughout Norrath. Learn more about their lore, participate in limited time quests to help them prepare for the Yule festival, and spread the goodwill and cheer that the season is known for!
Participate in the Yule festival near the culmination of the event, a true celebration of the season!
This is sure to be a season of merriment and joy, for Snowdrift elves and Norrathians alike! And, to celebrate the spirit of giving, we will be raffling off a temporary seasonal title on each server after the culmination of the event for players who have given away at least 10 more presents than they have opened themselves!
And, in addition to the fun planned by the Snowdrift Elves, there's still even more fun in store here on P99 for this holiday season. A 50% experience bonus and 100% loot bonus has been enabled across all servers! We hope everyone has a fun and magical holiday!
