The best way to get server first 50 on Thornblade and Mischief.
Roll 3 or 6 wizards with your budies (whatever u can get, a full grp is best if u have friends)
Do mail quest Felwithe>Kelethin till 10 go into steamfont and kill till 16 with ur wizards u will outdps everyone so it doesnt matter what they do, then do chessboard or CB till 20, then MM with ur 6 wizards progressing thru content cuz no one can outdps a grp of 6 wizards, gg, u will hit 50 before anyone can even stop u and u will just have to buy ike 8 spells u wont even need to stop to loot much plus ports, so u can port to were u can kill lotsa mobs, if u had a crew, that's how i would do it u could probably hit 50 in about 6 days if u ran shifts (or less) and duo'd quad kites (one wiz kites till oom, the other till oom, both sit and med) | ||

aradune launched 3 pm and cleared up around 12 am EST
rizlona was playable earlier than that, but it was less popular due to the different ruleset. maybe this will be a little better now with 2 servers that have equal rules | ||

Can newbs play there as well?
My experience with EQ ends with velious and I am still a newb in those eras. I feel like people who know the game will camp shit 1 expack in advance and I will never be able to catch up. Also, wouldn't a pack of druids be a better option because it's basically same as wizard but you can then have a powerlevel crew?

ya u'll be fine byue probobably a good place to start and make friends and find a good guild early on that will help u get thru the first few expacs if ur in a good guild they will help u get like vp keys and stuff, cuz everyone will bring their guild to dps key mobs with the new rules
who knows maybe the key stuff will wind up on the market cuz free trade? and drop randomly so u will get it if u just kill enough named? not a lot to do in classic except level and have fun | ||

yaw, tlp's super different from p99 tho so dont be surprised when you loot something and a massive space-age window appears that asks you where you want to store it for 5% APY
generally easier all around tho. faster xp, instancing on every zone, etc it aint classic, but fun times. lots of ppl | ||
