Well as everyone knows, only republicans can "use human beings as political pawns" which is obviously what will be said about this.

Nobody ever seems to notice that dems instituting policies that directly encourage people to traverse the desert with human traffickers from drug cartels is way way worse.

If the democrats are confident of winning I should think them eager to see DeSantis resign & run for higher office. If he loses he is then out of the picture entirely and yesterday's news by the time 2028 rolls around.
