![]() The thing is I quit all singleplayer games. In childhood I played them, they were good... Like Rayman 2 and 3, Prince Of Persia Trilogy, Assassin's Creed 1, Half-Life 2... I am of the opinion that there are no new singleplayer games coming that are good except Half-Life 3. If there was a new good singleplayer game I would just watch a walkthrough of it on YouTube.
I am more interested in online games because I like what I can get out of it. Call it - digital wealth. I liked getting those medals in CS2 that stick to your profile and can never be removed or stolen. Until I realized CS2 is just frustrating and not worth the effort. Those 125 wins until end of June, it is possible and not even that hard but it's not fun. Everytime you lose a Premier game you just wasted 20 minutes of your life. At least in BATTLEFIELD type games you get kills and unlock camos or level ups. In CS2 only it matters that you win, same with FACEIT. I am getting too old for this competition thing. I consider myself a good CS2 player stuck at 18.000 CSR but I don't want to play that game anymore because losing sucks. I had more fun in BattleBit Remastered where I wanted to achieve Prestige 10 200 as a goal and I stopped playing at Prestige 1 because I realized it's abandonware and may soon close the game's service. I think from now on I will set my mind on Project 1999 because it offers rare items and currency system (PP) and the leveling to 60, and yet it doesn't force me to play it for some time limited stuff... I don't even have to subscribe to it like with WoW or FFXIV. The other game I will play for fun on Steam is RESTITCHED. The LittleBIGPlanet game coming to Steam on PC. Truly hyped for that game. I had much fun playing LBP with my friend on his PlayStation. Maybe if Battlefield 6 releases I will play that but maybe not because I fear they will give a battlepass and I don't like time limited stuff anymore. Also in 10 years Battlefield 6 won't be relevant anymore same with any Call of Duty. That's why I played Counter-Strike 2 because they will update it and keep it relevant... But now I think it's best to just play Project 1999 only and RESTITCHED for fun.

![]() The requirement for multiplayer and the need for medals suggests you’re externalising the validation of your enjoyment. If you’re not having fun then pixel medals won’t really add to the enjoyment, they just skinner box your reward circuits.
You may also consider fostering a growth orientated mindset where you aren’t holding back your wellbeing with comparisons to others and indicators of performance. If you require structure for your entertainment consider using management tools, such as productivity and accountability planning and reviews, perhaps through SMART goal setting.

That being said, I don't play those servers anymore except the Nightriderz server. Imo Nightriderz is the best one and it even has Ranked play (that noone uses, but it's possible). You can get to level 100 and do Prestige 5 times resetting your level back to 1. I didn't do one Prestige yet because I'm not level 100 but at level 84 you can buy the Bugatti Bolide which is the fastest car and I'm 86... So... I grinded on all six servers in NFS World because this is what is fun to me. I really enjoy getting max ranks in games or acquiring inventory wealth. I guess EverQuest will provide for me in this regard. I only needed one serious game like Project 1999 to get me hooked and addicted to. And it doesn't force me to play like Counter-Strike 2 did for those time limited event medals. Now I can take care of my body and workout peacefully and not be forced to plan the day so that I will need 2 wins every single day in CS2 until May. Glad I left the game since yesterday. I feel freer now! I will soon make a new character in Freeport. I decided I will play Project 1999 as my main game and all other games will be just for fun... I recommend NFS World Soapbox Race World Nightriderz Server if you like racing games and it's free. I also recommend Left 4 Dead 2. Imo the most fun Valve online game. And Restitched is coming to Steam soon... By the way Wreckfest 2 is coming to Steam as well, soon, and it's a great fun game BUT I kinda hate the fact that in Wreckfest 1 you didn't need to actually play the game to unlock rewards. Yes you can just download a savegame on the internet that gets you to rank 100 with all cars unlocked and you're done. With stuff like this I would NEVER force myself to grind the game for levels and ranks if I can just skip it with a savegame. I don't know if it will be like this for Wreckfest 2 but I'm afraid it will be the same. Same in Deep Rock Galactic. I played it for 5 hours, thought the game was fun, but I used a savegame and now there's nothing to play for and I'm level 5 billion or something LOL. People on Steam Forum told me to just not use a savegame and enjoy the game, but the most enjoyment I get is from collecting rewards and getting max ranks. I remember playing A.V.A and those high ranks looked so fancy. A.V.A was the most enjoyable competitive fps for me in ijji times. It was so good! But this new A.V.A Global is absolute trash and doesn't even have the co-op and zombie modes... I named my clan ValiantCristal after the game Alliance of Valiant Arms but that game will never come back in its glory state as it was in ijji times... So yes I do like playing to get some reward by grinding something unless the grind is extremely tedious or the game frustrating like Counter-Strike 2 is. The frustrating part is that you win 50% of games on average that means you lose a lot of lifetime for nothing when you lose. A game is 20 minutes. I would rather play an MMO like EverQuest and not a highly competitive game like CS2 or Dota 2. But it must have a grind like for levels/ranks or items/medals... If there isn't a grind or if the grind can be skipped by downloading a SAVEGAME I will not grind it.

![]() By ranks I mean the military ranks in A.V.A that are just level-ups you get by playing the game, winning or losing, and getting exp. It was fun in ijji A.V.A to get a high rank. In CS2 you just need wins to get that stupid Premier Season 2 Medal. 125 wins and you got the medal fully leveled up but I don't want to play CS2 and get 2 wins everyday it is not entertaining to me and feels like work. When I said I like getting max ranks I meant level-ups like in EverQuest...
In BattleBit Remastered you can get Prestige 10 200 which is the max rank you get by just playing the game, regardless if you're losing or winning. You get exp by reviving and healing and can do just that for the entire game. I made a FACEIT account and never played it yet because I wanted to get the 125 wins Premier medal but I quit. It is just a huge waste of time.

If you are abusive or harassing you could get muted or even banned so that sucks. Personally, I spammed a nice song the last time I played for hours and didn't get any penalty. People enjoyed it! BattleBit is a fun game and the weapons are fun and you can even just be a healer/reviver as that is the easiest way to get Prestige 10 200. The fastest way is actually to do those tasks you get like killing 15 people with a Glock Pistol or healing for 10.000 health and stuff like that. That's the fastest way but I stopped this tactic and just became a healer/reviver medic because I want to reach Prestige 10 200 fast and easy without much effort and then I'll worry exclusively about getting the final camo for every gun. I believe you need 10.000 kills with any weapon to get the final camo reward. It is quite fun. Maybe at some point in time you will feel a little bit of stagnation because there are no updates and everything is the same since one or two years. The maps are fine but there's not soo many maps. Devs say they are still working on the game and an update is coming, but they claim that since more than a year. I'm sure it's not exactly abandonware because I believe the devs are working on an update, just slowly. I don't think BattleBit will completely die with no servers so if you are okay with two servers fully populated - this game is good for you! You will have plenty of fun especially for the little price this game costs. I can highly recommend this game! Make sure to watch some YouTube tutorial on the settings so that you can hold F and it drags team members while simultaneously healing them.
