People will often call you racist if you say "I have lots of black friends". The response is always "ohhh sure, that's what a racist would say!", but this doesn't really make sense.

Imagine applying this logic to a specific friend. You say "Hey I'm friends with Jimmy" and then somebody goes "Ohhhh sure, that's what everyone says when they secretly HATE Jimmy!". Like wtf? No, I said I'm *friends with* Jimmy, which would be the exact opposite of hating Jimmy.

my fav is the escargot joke but im tired of telling it because this younger generation isnt intellectual enough to know what an escargot is, so i end up spending like 5 minutes explaining to them what an escargot is
