It really was. It was really very 70's in its cheese factors. Those first few years ... they are as corny as the old Batman TV series.

I used to be the type of guy who thought times are changing, and you better change with the times or get left behind. Used to be the type of person who thought "Yeah, that might have played back then, but it's not cool now, you can't say that now."

As time passed, I came back to center. Maybe a little overdamping on my part.

But, I think the vocal minority who is at arms to "cancel" anyone who does things against their beliefs is just that - minority.

Most people can take a joke. Most people don't get upset when someone who they don't know says something they don't like. Most people.

It's not a left or right thing. It's a people who don't leave their houses very often, who frequent forums, Twitter, Reddit, etc...
going apeshit over the stupidest, mildest stuff. (See: This forum, RnF, others)

People who don't have many real-life connections seem to think that "society is going woke" or that "the right are fascists"

Meanwhile, the truth is that the average person doesn't give a shit. They're too busy living their lives to get embroiled in internet drama.
