There’s some fucking weirdo I may have to eventually deal with at the park that I jog around
He’s not always there, but if he is it’s always late at night around 10pm and he’s always the only one inside the tennis court…dunno if it’s because he’s chased everyone else out of there or what I have my music playing loud in my headphones as I run 3-4 laps around the park and as I run by the tennis court this weird fucker always yells something at me and sometimes kicks a tennis ball into the fence at me as I run by. It used to startle me but now I just expect it. I haven’t cared enough to turn my music down to hear whatever stuff he’s yelling. Even if it was some loud insult or challenge, that wouldn’t push me to fight him or anything But any night now I keep thinking he might get more aggressive with his weird behavior and maybe I will have to beat that ass. I figure if I win the fight pretty easily which I anticipate then I won’t even bother to call the cops after and figure he’s learned his lesson to leave people alone. But then I think no then he’ll come back with a knife or gun. If I don’t call the cops on him I’ll for sure have to change my route after I kick his ass Ah well. Annoying to even have this problem; I like my jogging route… | ||

While listening to a Phish song I walked across a frozen lake in deep snow. Traversed the shoreline and observed the subtle and rare signs of life in -10 F weather. The lake is a small, 30 acre lake, maximum depth of about 20 feet. It's dominated by aquatic plant life from late spring to late summer. Blue-algae is thick in the water or I would swim in it. It's a good lake to take the kids out in the canoes. Get them used to the canoe, comfortable on a boat.
As I've aged I'm finding I really enjoy solitude in nature. It might be my favorite place to be. Wild untouched nature, alone, this is my space of purity. There, I am all that I am. | ||

Dolphins are usually pretty chill. And these ones must see humans all time. The dive site is called dolphin house, so it’s well known they hang out there. I’m sure they know we’re harmless and silly in the water.
You could try to touch one, but they’re pretty fast and agile. Plus touching the wildlife is generally frowned upon. | ||
