Rygorr Miners in Crystal Caverns, and all sorts of mobs in Velks drop them. Statues, easy spiders in the front area, and Broodmother/master spiders all drop em.
You're talking about Small Pieces of Velium, I'm talking about Small Pieces of High Quality Ore

Hello,
Thanks for the nice patch.

However, I feel the drop rate on "small pieces of velium" is way too tight, please loosen it up a bit. Four small pieces in over 2 hours of killing in Crystal Caverns. This has to be incorrect. Please investigate the drop rate after chisel removal. I can't imagine that it remained the same. If it did it was because Luclin was coming out with new stuff, and that would be unfair to the community to implement a change that was mean to be overrode by an expansion that will never exist. Please investigate, the change is putting many tailors out of business.

I reviewed and increased several the velium drop rates in Crystal Caverns and Velketor's Labyrinth. This will need a patch though.

Any chance of looking at/increasing drop rate for small pieces of HQ ore? I quite literally cannot find them drop from any mobs anywhere - I received a tip that it's a rare drop from goblin janitors in Runnyeye but there is one of those and the spawn time is about an hour and I camped them (and other runnyeye goblins) for 2 days with no drops.

Doesnt look like they drop from anything currently. Already set to be fixed once the next patch happens

How is "Nilbog: Original Splitpaw has been recreated. Additional credits to Telin and Dolalin. [!Dec1999]" not at the TOP of this post?!

Furthermore... how can we see it?! Literally been my biggest hope all these years playing from launch of P99 to now was to someday see the REAL Splitpaw again!
Won't be able to see it until they a launch a new server, but it's nothing special. Splitpaw became a better zone when they increased the level range, it was too low level before then for most people hunting in South Karana. It should get more used these days during the early weeks of a new server when there's a bunch of people level 10-20, since people will now be aware it exists and understand how to safely travel there, but it makes much more sense as a higher level zone.
