But don't let your forehead sweat give it away, most of TV is and always has been. I have made jokes on this board before about Star Trek TNG skull blasting me with that stuff.

And DS9. One of the head writers recently did an interview where he expressed regret in not taking it further, as you suggest "having gay erotica etc" on display.

I thought the USS Defiant was a pretty cool spaceship (so does everyone) but I wasn't into any of the homo space sex aspects, the thoughts are pervasive and perhaps a touch sinister though.
