Bernie endorses Hillary
"I am endorsing Hillary Clinton," he said before explaining why "she must become our next president."
makes sense. Anything else would be racist!

I just needed to reply first. Will have something more substantive later.

Well, no surprise here. Bernie is a nice man and Trump is an openly mean one. Rodham lies about her meanness and Bernie believes those lies because he would like to think that his party is full of good people like him. He can continue patting himself on the back so long as he refuses to face reality and so he does.

Think a lot of Bernie supporters will view him as a sellout. I know I would. If Cruz endorses Trump, Cruz will be a sellout, but I doubt Cruz would do that.

They certainly aren't going to go voting for Trump in droves.

Only way around acknowledging that he just sold out is admitting that he was a blatant lizardman from the beginning. Without borders or the ability to exercise rational self-interest without being called racist, everything he stood for (increased min wage, gibs on loan at already-inflated cost, social justice) was to the detriment of the union and benefit of the ultra-rich from day one. Until you're prepared to admit that falling for Bernie's schtick at any point during this campaign was a personal embarrassment, there is a gaping hole in your credibility. Bernie was never an option. You should accept this now and try to be a better person rather than clinging to ego and torturing that narrative.
