modern "pets", dogs in particular, have been selectively bred for what is essentially the worst their species can provide.

the doofy, happy persona in a dog is an adult animal trapped in it's juvenile state which is unable to care for itself without human intervention.

it is a being that is completely dependent on it's owner for every aspect of it's entire life.

it's exactly what any socialist wants to turn society into.
