Greetings future guildy,

I saw your post for opening and positions and thought to myself that I would like to apply to a position in <insert guild name>. Typically i fill lots of holes in my current crews, so that being said I would like to inquire as to the fact of Do you have an opening for a guild factotum?

If so, what does this position start at and is this the chance for any upward mobility in the guild for the factotum?

Overall i think i would be a perfect fit for your opening in <insert department name> and would thrive in <position title> and become a vlaue guild memeber of <insert guild name>.

I hope you take into consideration the thought and effort i do. And if i had to say a weakness it'd be that i just have to do a GREAT (not just good or ok) job. It's a flaw i guess, but i don't let it slow me or get me down.

This is what I’m talking about guys. I can already tell this guy would be perfect for the adult entendre portion of the guild requirements. It’s probably the most important element. It’s also the most difficult because you have to make sure not to offend anyone by taking it too far. We have a zero tolerance policy for that. You have to do it in a way where the reader is thinking, “did that guy just say…nevermind.”

Regarding the guild factotum, I actually had to google that and for anyone who doesn’t know what it means, it’s someone who does many different roles. I can honestly say with the current guild landscape and the current interest level on these forums, we wouldn’t be hiring for a guild factotum. You can do a lot of factotum for the guild on your own time if you wish, but there wouldn’t be any formal recognition for said role.
