Anyone can use twitter, but prior to today many many opinions running directly along a specific political line were throttled and\or banned, so the ones that filter through get amplified. Now, god forbid, *everyone* can just talk freely, hopefully! As long as they aren't breaking any existing laws! It's horrifying, I know.

No, they filter it to promote their ideological position. It's just background noise until amplified by news networks.

This lady (" Curation Standards Lead @Twitter") had her Tweet shared in a news story. I followed her to see the continued freakout...

But next day "Tweets are protected." I can't wait til the "tweets are protected" BS gets removed. Twitter isn't Facebook, sorry.
