None of your character stats affect pet stats. You can give pets gear to improve them. I'm unsure how exactly gear with ac, resists, or hp help summoned pets but there have been tests done on blue (some by me) over the years showing charms pets benefit from equip you give them.
Giving a necro let that hits for 10 max a 2h weapon that's 10/50, for example, will increase the pets max hit to 21. As far as stats for your necro directly, yeah, it's basically just about int. Other stats give very little bonus. | ||

I have a theory that Agi also helps your pet get hit less. But it's really hard to tell as even with player characters Agi has such a small impact on misses.
As mentioned above. Stack STR buffs on your pet will make it hit higher avg dmg. aka less minimum dmg hits.
