I would guess it would vary. If there was a domestic iphone factory I assume the price of an iphone would go up, but is that true for all products?
The expensive pieces of iPhones are made in South Korea or Taiwan. We could probably make those without price increases, had we been investing in chip manufacturing prior to 2022

Sadly, we subsidize oil companies, airlines, and corn instead of things that matter

You need a responsible government to stop the excesses of a market, but a market delivers more than the alternative

Maybe people need to be smarter? Also, those companies are going to get a comeuppance if real estate prices fall. The trick is to not bail them out. Too big to fail is bull shit
