It does, but there's no way in-game to remap "A" and "D" to do the same thing.

Nice suggestion, though I'd be careful with programs like that. For what we're talking about (remapping "A" to "LEFT"), it's probably fine, since it doesn't seem to violate the Play Nice Policies:

Triggering a mouse click with your keyboard (or anything else unusual) might register, so personally I'd stick to only remapping.

With my keyboard you can just swap Q/E with L/R Arrow keys with drag and drop:

I quoted the definition of cheating above (ie. the PNP). You can see for yourself that it doesn't ban what you're doing (although it does explicitly say that log file readers are allowed).

I'm just saying that while I don't know how their anti-cheat works, I do know that the core idea is that it detects unusual behavior ... so to be safe I avoid unusual behavior. YMMV.

iirc i bound my open spellbook hotkey to be book 1 so it alwaays opened on the same page.

Then I would remember what page spells were on.

So id think, "Boltranz is on page 3"

tap book key, tap tap tap click where the spell would be and mem it almost like before animations would be done playing.

To be clear, I'm not trying to say there's anything wrong with such programs: I have tendonitis issues, and while I haven't needed them personally, they could really help others with similar issues.

I just think the devs should crack down if someone (say) does tradeskill combines by macroing the mouse movements and keypresses into a single hotkey ... and I think the anti-cheat does exactly that. But since I don't know where the line is, and I certainly don't want a ban, I stay on the safe side of it.
