I may be alt hopping but they range between lvl 10 and 20, nowhere near end-game mind you but this reeks of the cringe of vanilla WoW players autistically screeching about endgame when the journey is the whole point, from what I've picked up from EQ on P99 that journey is even more-so of import than even in Vanilla WoW.

Iksar are very aesthetic, as are Elves, the Iksar just spoke to me louder than any of the other races (barring a Dark Elf Wizard I've made because Iksar can't be Wizards, she's the lowest lvl however at 5).

I do it the other way around; class first then race.

The original way a noob plays the game is race first then class. It’s the first selection, then class and dirty.

Sure some pros picked via class originally but pure noobs chose the race they want to be since they don’t know anything about the classes abilities anyways.

My first race was wood elf but iksar didn’t exist yet so we’ll never know if I woulda been an ikky

Interesting bed time story but somebody who has already played WoW and MUDs shouldn't be a noob.

When I first started playing EQ I didn't say I can't wait to be a erudite I said I can't wait to be a Wizard and I then picked erudite for INT. I'd already played Diablo and Dungeons & Dragons by then.

My kid decided to install live eq off steam this weekend and first thing he did was choose race. Then chose class based on what was available.
