If I were a mod here I'd shut down all political discussion too. P99 is still at the mercy of their agreement with daybreak. It's utterly foolish to risk any kind of dispute with them if the goal is to be a good steward of this project. I'd do the same thing.

My only critique is that they could have just put that in the rules a long time ago.

I doubt what goes on here in the forums is on Daybreak's radar in anyway. The team here goes to great lengths to add disclaimers that it is not associated or affiliated with the IP holders.

A once heralded agreement can end up looking like a curse as the Earth continues to spin. Other projects don't appear to have their hands tied as much.
