Showing some art/animation in a game engine is a far cry from actually making a game sadly. What this guy did in the video is the easy part lol. Not very impressive to be honest. Most people could do this after watching a few hours of tutorials. He's just ripping existing assets and letting Unreal do most of the rendering work.

Sure. It's great that he loves EQ enough to setup the project, just understand that we'll never play it as EQ.

He can't release it with those assets without running into legal problems. He has also not shown any network functionality, so its a single player project. He also states that he has no development background and its his first project.

If slapping EQ on a project name gets this much attention, I'll come back in a year with a prototype for EverQuest : Hardcore. An mmo where your character has one life and on the red server necromancers can pimp your zombified corpse.
