this doesn't mean i agree with having a supreme court, but i acknowledge it exists and wields power. besides, he went to them, they didn't summon him.

Lower courts aren't well suited for deciding Constitutional questions. It seems likely to be an executive privilege petition.

Did they grant cert?

I dunno, I saw it and just wanted to throw dirt in Elizondo's face about it, that's all. I enjoy seeing the stupid and angry lengths they will go to so that they don't actually have to engage on various points. It will be goddamn hilarious if they refuse to take it up, but I kinda doubt it.

NBC says they have until 5pm on 10/11 to decide to take it up or not, or whatever the legal terms are for this stuff. I guess in context 'granting cert' equals taking the... case??
