Tilted Kilt in Vegas was going nuts when Izzy got KO’d. I’m assuming a lot had bets on Pereira. Or that Izzy has a lot of haters

Izzy was out-skilling him for the first 3 rounds and almost knocked him out at the end of the first…but it was quickly apparent Pereira’s hits hurt more. It’s like another UFC fighter put it, “power is the great equalizer”

It was like something out of a movie the speech Pereira’s corner gave him before round 5. Basically you won’t win this fight unless you knock him out at this point (he was way behind on points), so walk him down

Great fight, Pereira enters the UFC and in 4 (5?) undefeated fights he is now the new champ. But he would get eaten alive by a grappler like Khamzat
