Default Starting a druid

Hi guys, starting fresh as a druid. Just wondering where is the best place(s) to make money at low levels? Made a wood elf but in OOC some people seem to think halflings and Misty Thicket is a better area? Any advice is welcome [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Can't go wrong on Faydwer imo - gfay, Crushbone, Unrest, Mistmoore. If you want to group that's the path.

Either way you go, get the ec tunnel, grab a sow and head to the NRO Inn. Massacre countless Decay Skeletons for Bone Chips. Now here's the awesome part. You will get plenty of bags and small boxes drop along the way to store items. Destroy the rusty weapons, they are worthless; loot all cloth armor and cracked staffs. Use what cloth you need an a Cracked staff, sell the rest. If you get over weight from gold/copper, buy a cracked staff and sell it back for plat conversion. Save the bone chips. Doing all this and selling cloth and saving bone chips, you should have around 40p. Save about 28 stacks of chips. You can sell them for 10p a stack or take the 28 stacks to Kaladim and turn in. @8 stacks will take a 0 level to level 11, You will then get leather reward pieces and coin for those turn ins. Sell what you don't equip to the vendor next to the quest NPC. This gives you spell cash and shoots you to 11. Now head to Crush Bone and group up. Save your belts to turn in for more exp or sell to the many that pop in looking to buy them for 3-5p each.

Halfling levels faster, gets sneak, can level Tailoring easiest once you need to do culturals, is closer to Freeport, has furry feet.

Wood elf starts near Crushbone, is an elf, and follows Tunare which is good for Tunare deity necklace.

Both have very high wisdom so you can't go wrong with either one of them.

I prefer the Qeynos starting area, as Blackburrow is just such a great place to level with the fang quest.

The best place to make money at low level is to not do that and level instead cause you can make exponentially high pesos at higher levels.

Also, no need for you to reroll, you can ask for a port to Misty Thicket to any druid out there, and you'll have all your spells and a trainer waiting for you, you can make it your home [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

As you are already in gfay tho, may I recommend to do level 5-20 in Crushbone. Try to gather as many CB belts and CB shoulderpads as you can; they will easily sell for about 3-4pp for belts and 5-6pp for pads once you're ready to make big bucks.

You also have the classic lfay Nybright Sisters camp one zone down for level 10-17 or so, with many bronze weapons to sell.

But in both cases you'll end up with about 250pp for your trouble? Where you can do that in one sitting in your late 20s, and much faster 30+.

Druids don't need money, they work fine naked, if you want to make money your #1 priority should be to get to level 39+. Then you can port for bucks or farm more legit money spots.

Qeynos area,

1-5 kill anything just to get there, cracked staffs sell for 1pp each
5-12 Blackburrow entrance gnolls for teeth, also kill rabid animals as that quest give 2pp minimum
12 - 22 bandit sashes WK, you should walk away from this with 1kpp + in the bank

Don't worry about rerolling unless you really want to be a halfling. Don't worry about money, just sell or use bonechips and crushbone belts and pads for exp or plat for spells. Can also ask players for some plat for you spells, p99 is in general a very giving community to new players.

Just work on levels druids make ez money on this server with ports

I'd turn in all the crushbone drops yourself to accelerate the leveling process further.

As stated, you make far more money at higher levels. Just focus on leveling the druid so you can port people everywhere. There is good, easy money to be made with that and should you find yourself wanting a 2nd class...you can make plat to twink the heck out of it to make leveling the second time far easier.

This is great advice but one thing isn’t say isn’t don’t destroy the rusty weapons you’re righht by a vendor and every coin eventually adds up.
