Zumaik's vs. Kintaz
I've been delaying the purchase of Zumaik's animation because frankly I rarely use one and it seems like a waste of 4k.
That being said, is there much of a difference between the 49/55 pets? | ||

The 55 pet is alright if you're trying to kill things way below your level. I use mine for stuff like xicotl, PS , etc.
But I would say that it is about as much of a waste of money as GoPT. Buy it if you have the Plat laying around but you won't hate yourself if you never get it. It's merely a solution when the situation does not warrant the effort that charming a pet would be

Don't use animations. You cannot back them off from breaking mez. You cannot tell them to attack. They have such narrow and niche usefulness that you should not buy this spell. Either wait until you see it drop or until someone puts it in your guild bank.

I'm well aware of the downsides of summoned animations. I was just curious if there was a meaningful bump in power over the 49 pet. There are times when there isn't a sufficient mob to charm and this could come in handy.

Animations are fine when you farm low level stuff where you can't get a higher level charm. A narrow case, but sometimes you wish you had the best.

55 has 800-1200 more hp than the 49, according to wiki

Seems like a horrible waste of 4K. Why is it so expensive? It only hits 3-5 more than Kintaz. So it can kill green trash like 5% faster. Total waste of money.

It has roughly 1k more HP, and 2x swords (so dual wield de facto). level range from 42 to 48. Its a nice pet against tougher targets
