3D movies suck harder than a malfunctioning vacuum cleaner.

nintendo 3DS on the other hand has a pretty bad ass glasses free 3D effect, if a tiny handheld video game can give me glasses free 3D why cant the movie theaters?

Its because of the size of the screen. It becomes distorted the bigger you make it. Smalls screens work, but any decent sized TV or move theater screen get distorted way to much. Can't remember what the technology is called, but they are researching it really hard to get it right.
