Default Error 1017

Hello!
I am starting to believe "error 1017" has different causes to different people. I cannot log into any p99 servers on work wifi or mobile hotspot. When I am on home wifi I can connect just fine with no issues.

I am able to connect and play any eqemu server, but no p99 servers. I either get a crash to login or the error 1017 code. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Cheers

Solved.

Turned wifi off of phone, turned hotspot on. It must be work wifi for whatever reason.

Sometimes the slight additional delay from wireless helps some people - but if it's a new system make sure you're not over the 4.2GHz limit. The client can't handle clockspeeds in excess of that. Otherwise, it's usually a routing issue that will resolve itself given time. Use an alternate means (vpn, hotspot, etc) while you wait.
