Delayed interaction with the world/Connection issues

Recently i have been experiencing drawn out delays between inputting certain commands and the server carrying them out. For example, tells take awhile to go through, spells take awhile to do their effect, etc.

Sometimes it eventually disconnects me alltogether after this goes in for an hour or so. I can still see everyone else functioning normally around me, guild chat etc, but its like im slowly fading from norrath lol.

Any advice on how to address the issue would be greatly appreciated.
