Staff of Temperate Flux Quest bugged?
I just went to turn in for my Staff of Temperate Flux. I turned in all 4 needed items, I am indifferent con, was not invised and after turning the 4 items in, nothing happened. No exp, no item, no items given back.
Did I do something wrong? I got the lambent stone and turned it in for the staff, i got the hearts from permafrost and sola. Along with the rod of bone from lake rathe. Before turning in, I hailed, typed in the text needed and after he stated what was needed, i turned them in. Does anyone have any suggestions or can anyone help? * SOLVED* = I'M AN IDIOT | ||

It doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. But everquest is a quirky little game. There are quests and npcs where if you are levitating while doing the hand-in, something about the hit box or something, causes the quest to fail. Other times, you have to be standing so close to the npc that you can see inside their face.
I had multiquested this staff for my wizard, so i can attest that you do not need a minimum faction. And the only other possibility that I can immediately think of is that you turned in one wrong item that LOOKED like the right one but wasn't. You can submit a petition for reimbursement of the quest items, but.... well, I don't want to distress you, but I have had a petition in for more than a year now.... I think it's at 14 months... It might be faster / easier to just go farm up the items again. Good luck! | ||
