Great multiplayer/social games?
Are there any titles out there that have a greater emphasis on socializing during gameplay?
That’s one of the features I enjoyed about classic EQ. The gameplay being slower, naturally led itself to promote socializing. I’ve been playing a little wow and Diablo 4 lately, and it’s just a race to the top without hardly any interplayer communication. Kinda sad.

I used to be part of a Mechwarrior and quake clan.
I think communities or gaming communities are meta now. Blizzard is definitely not gonna scratch the itch.

Table top rpgs. For sure maybe.
Anything that is highly collaborative that is where the building and creative games excel. Stay tf out of Second Life tho.

I've replaced my online friends with 4x games like Stellaris, NMS, and the X series of games tho. X3 and X4 Anything That has copious amounts of exploration, resource gathering, logistics, and trading. I do not play Eve anymore tho because I am very antisocial and can't stick with a guild or make scheduled meetups regularly (EQ raids lol). Butt Anything that lets me be a small lone actor in a larger community would be cool. Like mining on a vanilla MC server for a builder friend.

I'm the last person to talk to about this because even when I have the opportunity I usually just sit in the corner by myself. I played EQ mostly solo or in a duo with the occasional random pick ups.
