Default Where are we in the timeline?

I got excited to finally get my mage on green to 20 so I could start healing my pets, but renew summoning apparently is not in the game yet...

Does anyone know when it is supposed to be out? Because the wiki says it was included in Classic but I guess later. Kind of sucks not being able to heal your pet when that's the only thing between you and taking a terrible beating, if not death

I was actually just about to DM Loramin about this, but we are about to hit Plane of Sky IIRC. The last update added Plane of Hate (Nov. 3, 1999) and the next Content Update after that is Jan. 20, 2000 with PoS.

@loramin Can we add tags to pages or content in pages to mark them as "Current Green", "Current Blue", "Current Red"? It would help with situations like this, I think.

EDIT: too much work, initially. How about just putting a big GREEN IS HERE in the patch notes page and have that page prominently displayed on the home screen as something like "Wondering where we are in the timeline?"

Thanks for the reply!

Does that mean that the Mage spell Renew Summoning is coming in soon?

You can do anything you want, as long as you genuinely think it improves things for everyone: that's the spirit of a wiki! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

If you want to add green text I think you have to use HTML:

Code:
<span style="color:green">WHATEVER YOU WANT TO SAY IN GREEN</span>

The launch of an EQ server is year 3100. A few generations following the the Age of War, where ogres and trolls established their homes, and the froglocks were driven into guk.

1 Irl Year = 7300 Everquest days (20 ever quest years).

Green launched October 25th 242 days ago, which puts us approximately at year 3113 in the timeline.

Unless you were asking about your precious pixels.

Blue is somewhere in year 3500 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The age that follows is the age of cataclysms that begins in 200 everquest years from then, where the shattering happens and luclin begins!

So we should expect luclin on blue sometime around 2029 (or more I havent done the math lol) or so if we follow actual in game time.

Likely not until Kunark drops. The level 8 and 20 Mage pet heals were put in something like 8 or 9 months after release, early-ish 2000 which means you likely won't see them on vendors until Kunark is live on Green.
