Do u ever think about the weird stuff ppl used to camp back in the day?
Every time I see the brownie fort in Lesser Faydark I have flash backs to watching higher level players regularly camp there for exp. I remember regularly seeing players camp the ghouls in neriak third gate. The druid camp outside of surefall glade was almost always camped on my server.
was just thinking about how different the game was 20+ years ago I think it was because the servers were so crowded that people were more likely to resort to camping anything that might not be contested, or maybe they were just having fun / convinced that these brownies/ghouls would eventually drop some super rare and amazing item i also dont think people really required nearly as many mobs for a camp back then, i remember doing the goblins in high keep and my group was literally just doing the single room we were sitting or having multiple groups camping the first floor of unrest idk

I remember multiple Dervish groups in North Ro.
And Orc Camps in South Ro. I've NEVER seen someone camp those on P99

One thing that would be an interesting concept for the new server would be making specific camps like that higher exp than other mobs in the zone to truly bring back the classic experience where players are more incentivized to play the game the way it was originally played Think it’s hella crazy that Sarnak fort in LOIO was THE leveling spot back in the day and now it’s totally empty
