Most Regretted Quest
You been working at it for weeks now. Gathering those rare quest items off rare spawns all over Norrath one by one. Throughout your journey the RNG gods set the winds against you.
Finally though after much effort. After almost having given up. You endure to loot that very last quest item. Now with your Shralok pack full of final quest turn ins, you arrive at the original quest giver, and turn it in. All at once. In return you are handed the reward Special New Item you worked so hard for! And so you put that new item on and then check yourself out. You check your stats. You frown. You realize the old item you had in that slot was better than this new one. The old item looked better and also had better stats. Slowly you take off the new item and put back on your old item. You walk slowly over to your banker and insert the new quest item into the bank. A trophy now. Forever. What is your Most Regretted Quest item?

I'm assuming you're talking back in the day on live when we didn't know much about every item that every quest provided as a reward?

the coldain shawl on my enchanter.
i enjoy long quest chains so in some way im glad i did it... but its a ton of work and its just not that good. not if you are in a raid guild and can get other FT1 items and the neriad shawl exists. on top of that, i did it back before every spider in velks drops like 3 of those silks that you need a million of. when i did it that single step was probably like 20 hours worth of farming velks.
