Project 1999's BotB Continues!
Over the weekend the Project 1999 server began its first wave of single person Best of the Best tournaments. The first four classes up for combat were Necros, Rangers, Rogues, and Shamans.
In the final match of the Necromancer tournament, Necrious of TMO was set to face off against Shinko of BDA. Call it gear, skill, or luck, but at the end of the day it was Necrious The Warlock standing proudly atop the bones of his defeated opponents. After a long heated debate, the staff decided that rangers were people too, and as such, we allowed them to compete in the tournament. When it came time for the Ranger Championship (oxymoron?) match, two TMO guild mates stood toe to toe. Internode's prayers must have been heard by Tunare as he was victorious in slaying Zilo, and becoming The Warder of Project 1999. Everyone knows there's honor amongst thieves, but bragging rights are just as important to thieves, and this past weekend they were up for grabs. All good rogues think highly of themselves, but now was the time to prove it. When the shadows cleared, the spectators were surprised to see Hasbinbad of the mostly retired IB and Crazyeyes as the last two Rogues still standing. The battle ensued, Crazyeyes was victorious and crowned The King of Thieves. There was no short supply of voodoo and witchcraft as the Shamans took to the platform in preparation for battle. Svenn was proudly representing BDA as Klubba waited for the battle across the platform. After what felt like an eternity, Svenn was defeated, and Klubba was named The Oracle of Project 1999. Again, Congrats to all the winners, as well as everyone that participated. We all hope you had as much fun as we did. I have not seen any footage of the Avatar of War, so here is some footage i got ( first time i have recorded so i just used my phone but not bad quality)
