it was suggested that states contract with the government to find a loophole to their own laws and let them save face.

this. although not because you're going to give a baby 'permaderps' just by smoking near it. because I don't really want some pothead smoking a bowl around my kids when they're going to school. Or at the mall. Not saying legalization is a bad thing at all (because it's not) but I am saying stoners had better follow the law and not start blazing bowls around teenagers and kids. It should be allowed to be smoked wherever cigarettes can be smoked. The only way you could tell a difference, at first glance, between a cig and a joint is just the smell. Plus some places have public smoking bans, so make it you can't smoke weed there either.

Treat it like something between cigs and alcohol is my idea, but since I'm not in Gov't, that thought won't be used.

You can grow it, gf has a medical card. Allowed up to 6 plants growing.
