Default PSA: Wurmslayer

So if you still have your Wurmslayer in your offhand, please read this thread...

I was one of those people who thought I would keep my wurmy in off hand until my toon died, which on my Ranger seemed easy enough as long as I kept SoW up and avoided taking any DTs. Sure, I had to live with the fact that my secondary slot appeared empty, but my Wurmy was still visiable and I still slashed for over 70 dmg.

Well that all changed when I just looted a crappy primary/secondary dagger from a mob I killed. The dagger auto went into my secondary slot and I stopped slashing. I also wasn't able to loot anything because something was hiding on my cursor. So I log out to fix the loot issue of course to find my Wurmy now on my cursor. FML.

TD;DR If you still have a Wurmy in your secondary, never right click loot an weapon that you can equip in your secondary.

how? multiple items have been nerfed on this server in this way, and they always retain there previous properties until changed.

by your logic half the server will be exploiting the day after this gets patched :O

Haters gonna hate,

I love people doing quirky things in this game and sharing their stories, one of the reasons I hang around.

How is this cheating or anything even close to it? There were no exploits involved at all in fact the OP not taking any action is how this happened. How can not taking an action be cheating especially when it behaves exactly as programmed and known.

Ahhh you people hurt my head.
