The dude was detailing how he was crying after 24 hours straight of failed attempts

Sorry, but if you are playing a video game 24 hours straight no breaks, then crying afterward, you need to re-evaluate your life

But he is a runner who healed his brain from the video game trap by running so I give props for that

Expect to see about half pop of hunters.
Survival is p gud in retail still.

I play shadow and disc priest.

I just notice good dps. May be survivorship bias tho with Survival hunters cuz only the good players will stick to the spec if it's not FOMO META

I can only handle like, an hour or two of any game these days, tops.

Good on that person, though. It was just a joke cuz his mouth was open.

I have not tried Diablo 4, yet.

Low 60's now (got a late start then switched from sorc to rogue at 53). Definitely notice some huge flaws with the game but I think it's a testament to its fun/addictive quality that I won't be able to play til the 14th (moving across the country) and I find myself missing it.

I'm a little wary of seasons. I have no interest in doing the season lvling ladder thing but I don't want eternal to be a ghost town. How did that go down in d3? Did everyone play the seasons with virtually nobody on eternal?

Based on how many casual d4 players went up in arms at the concept of seasonal ladder servers, I'd say Eternal will still be popular.

I agree with you and the "casual uproar crowd" that I'm not interested in seasonal progression. That is a staple of the diablo franchise tho so of course they're gonna do it.

Are you going to start a Season 1 char?

I'm thinking I will. The game turns into a mindlessly boring grind in the upper 80s...I was pushing NMD sigils but thats literally the only thing left to do.

.
Eternal will be fine for season 1, but by the time season 2 hits Eternal will be the equivalent of Red 99

You can get PLed to 50 in about 30 minutes as it stands and as they add more shit that will become less and less time and higher and higher level. Creating a new character isnt that big of a deal for a 3 month season and in the long run is fun (once you get over the concept and actually try it). Seasons are the only thing that kept D3 fun

You wanna slam S1 with me?

I may do another sorc...just because im familiar with the builds / etc. Hoping for some balance changes as I love the playstyle / aesthetics / etc.

I read up a bit...so you'll have all your altars of lilith / map discovered / renown / etc...but you won't have access to your shared bank, right?

If my rogue was 100 I’d probably make a character for season 1. Since I’ll likely not be there before the season starts I think I’ll just keep working on him. Perhaps for season 2 I’ll try it out.

I’d also likely just play another flurry rogue. They’re too much fun! About to hit 85! I just picked up two unique daggers for him in a Condemnation and Ashearas Katar that I’m dual wielding. Hoping to find a doombringer sword to pair with the katar and drop condemnation so I can go back to inner focus instead of the combo points.

The grinds been pretty harsh tho so idk if I’ll have the drive to lvl another character….we will see.
