Good question. I try to keep my posts fairly short, but that's not a short answer.

I cannot trust anyone who claims to be well-versed in economics, especially if they were educated at a so-called "Ivy League" school. I guess if I were forced into leadership I'd have to collect opinions on economic and political matters, against my own prejudices.

I also have questions about the circumstances that lead to my own coronation. This makes me think of the 1991 classic King Ralph.

Has there been a local news announcement of a budget surplus in your state in the last, I guess 2 years?

We like to say "socialism only works on paper" but I've often seen paper capitalism in the same light. Easy to overlook when you're one of the beneficiaries of the global exploitation, by design.

I suck at history, but there’s probably more instances of capitalism digging a country out of a rut than socialism doing it

But that may just be by virtue of more total countries having tried one versus the other
