![]() Verlekarnorm's horn of disaster is not landing in PvP at all.
It is resisted 100% of the time literally. It should be landing on some, most or all pvpers. It is not working as intended. In any review, please note the spell check, cast time and item rarity.

![]() It will land during PvP on people with low resists(<80), just like root or snare. Open up your test population beyond a NToV geared raid on a PvP server.

![]() This is resisted 100% of the time at 51 magic or above period end of discussion.
This has a minus 100 magic check. It is not working as intended.

![]() Did some cursory research. (Item/Spell Comments/Lucy/Tsiki)
I did not see any mentions of this being difficult to resist on PvP servers. This isn't surprising with a 15sec cast time, if it was lower we would probably see a ton of comments on this front. Here is some of the spell data from the history of this spell from lucy. (Note that some aspects of spell data were changed with no change to actual effect, so tagged dates with changes might not mean an actual change in the spell but merely a new way to track it. Quote:

If you could do some testing and attempt this say 20ish times at each benchmark of MR(0/50/100/150/255), so we can get an idea of what the actual current resist rate is that would be beneficial. Stating it gets resisted every time 50+mr doesn't do any good, when I posted evidence of it landing on someone next to me doesn't add much credibility to your evidence base. If you post an issue with no research or leg work done, that isn't game breaking without change, you're unlikely to see it even addressed by the developers.

![]() Thanks for inquiry.
This lands 100% of the time at 50 mr or below. This is resisted 100% of the time at 51 mr or above. If you have any other questions, I will do my best to answer them, or if you are unclear or doubt my claims, you are welcome to check them yourself, as I have repeatedly over and over. You claimed NToV gear. Beginning characters with Unrest or Najena gear CLEARLY resist this spell. Taking into consideration the minus 100 magic check, this spell is obviously not working as intended.

![]() You are Iovvdovvn, correct? If I'm off base and your not the bard that was clearly running around the Apex raid yesterday chain clicking his horn, I apologize. I just assumed this was the case as your post here corresponds almost 3 minutes after the logs I posted showing my resist and the person next to me being hit by it.
Either way, an obscure item effect like this is not likely to get developer attention with other large scale issues going on. If you want to get something like this fixed, you need to do most of the legwork for the staff yourself, as I doubt they will invest the time into it right now. As I said in my post before, your earlier post makes a statement, but does not show anything. I personally think a good starting point would be to do a little testing so you could provide numbers on how often and at what points this gets resisted, and contrast that against something else that also has a -100 MR mod. The easier you make it for them to make this change, the better chance you have of it getting changed.

![]() Dont waste your time and chuck it up as a loss if you bid dkp for that item. Pvp bugs dont get fixed. Pray haynar comes back.

![]() Tested this today, spell didn't land a single time at 54 mr.
Not sure which server Slathar is testing this on, but it wasn't P99.

![]() this is not a bug
the current pvp resist system is constructed so that stuns will not land on players above 50 MR without negative modifiers (this item does not have a negative modifier as per classic) it is intentional and very good so that items like this would not ruin the game move to resolved

![]() Slathar is a liar.
Cwall is an idiot. "Working as intended" means working as it originally did. This has always had a minus 100 check. This is not working as intended.
