Default Windows cannot find 'eqgame'.

This keeps popping up when i try to launch. I do not see the 'eqgame' file in the folder. I have downloaded Titanium and P99 and extracted to same folder.

Make sure you do not install in Program Files, that will prevent a lot of issues

Set the 'Start in:' to your EQ directory

Check and make sure your installed AV suite hasn't quarantined the eqgame.exe file for whatever reason.

This worked for me. Same issue trying to start the game with the launch titanium .bat file. So i made copy of the eqgame.exe and went in and added "patchme" to that line and BAM it worked! thank you! four and a half hours spent trying to do all sorts of things but glad it was actually a simple fix.

In response to the above reply. "made a copy" How is that done? "went in" What does this mean and how is it done? "added "patchme" to that line" I do not understand this. This is why I was hoping someone could step explain thoroughly what to do. These instructions would help someone proficient at computers but to someone that doesn't know computers it isnt helpful.

Itd be like telling someone who needed to change oil on a car who never worked on a car, "Just take out the oil pan screw and drain the oil then replace the screw, change the oil filter and pour in 4 quarts on new 10W40."

Need more detail please.

You have a shortcut for EQ on your desktop? Right click and go to Properties

Make sure the "Start in" line is set to your Everquest folder

and

Problem with Shortcut. The name C:\Norrath1\eqgame.exe specified in the Target Box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

C:\Norrath1 is where you installed Titanium? Is the above what your shortcut looks like?
