Creative solutions are the answer. Either way we need a societal change. Accumulation of “stuff” is a very real problem. A problem I believe is caused by a lack of moral bedrock. Science is the new religion.
Can you name any creative solutions?

Which brings us to problems on the other side of it: A lot of smaller- and medium-size operations don't *want* to mechanize because the equipment manufacturers are increasingly hostile to deal with. John Deere has spent years trying to make farmers unable to even repair their own machinery. Nearly all the non-amish farms around here use illegals, and most of them use decades-old equipment, and the above problem definitely contributes.

Complex problems unfortunately don't have simple one-step solutions. Took decades to get us to where we are and it'll take a long time to un-screw it if sufficient desire to do so even materializes.

I do not think the desire to solve the problem will exist until the shelves are empty, in some sense. Maybe it will be the coffee that convinces rich people these problems are real, but part of me suspects it will be the mass riots

You've been operant conditioned like a dog to associate third world culture with socialism, which has never actually been tried in a functional, advanced culture. (Except for European mixed markets which resulted in better societies than the USA, by every metric but military spending and number of billionaires).

It's frankly pathetic and I feel bad for you.

Here let me show you something else you've been trained in, Pavlonian style.

MAINSTREAM MEDIA!

How do you feel?
