politically, and militarily the onlything russia needs is this:

but it'd like to have hearts and minds of all ukraine either by choice or force I am sure, they are communists.

But it only needs what's there to stay relevant in the global economy for the next 30 years while the ice caps melt.

And if it gets that, ukraine will perish over time anyway, because they need that too.

Kind of like, that area is pretty important I think.

Like I think if russia loses crimea that they are in big economic trouble.
