Default Technical questions

For various reasons, I had to move my PC to a different room than normal, which means that I'm wireless now. Will this cause issues with EQ? I've read a couple of threads with similar issues, and a couple of people pointed out that there might be an issue if you are wireless.

Also, does running this in Windows Vista have or cause any known issues?

I ask because I can get to the character selection screen, but when I hit the button to play, it doesn't go any further, and eventually stops responding.

BTW - I may be running a network drop tomorrow, so question 1 may be moot by tomorrow at some point.

TIA for any help or advice.

I play on wireless with no problems whatsoever. The only known issue with Vista/7 that I've seen is in regards to people not having administrative access to certain folders (i.e. program files) and that making finding where screenshots are saved to, and editing ui files and the like more difficult. I've always had UAC off and been an administrator however and have never encountered such problems.

I'm on a shitty wireless connection and sometimes I crash while zoning. It's a common problem with people on unstable wireless
