Seeing as how Russia turned out we definitely shouldn't ban guns.
Some people shouldn't have them. We do need well regulated militia. We do need national guard depos with gear and food.. Everyone who can absolutely must do two years active duty even if it's just civil engineering and feeding the homeless x a strict training regimen to give people an understanding of basic survival and military bearing. (Four years would be more ideal) x 1 year training that includes basic and a useful skill (welding, cooking, farming, sanitation, logistics, machinery maintenance (think motorpool), combat medic, etc). This is the time to sort out the crazies who can't safely pass weapons training or be trusted in civil society and give them a very nice safe weapons free home. Absolutely zero freedom for them. No voting. No owning property, children, guns, etc. Given whats at stake you would see a surprisingly low failure rate once people figured out being a conscientious citizen and doing your duty was easier. Eliminate private prisons entirely. Bring back swift capital punishment. Hope this helps /\

Its more like the party of these hands vs the party of pussies afraid to fight. They want teachers to carry guns, but they better not point it at their dumbass kids. They want all store employees to carry guns but they better not pull em out when a republican refuses to leave, assaults, or threatens an employee. In that case, they should have gunned that lady down for coughing on the staff. They want all these things but not for them. They want them for black and brown people. They are allowed to break the law with impunity.

If the stores want to cut down on robberies, one way is to man up and accept the fact that you might be sued for how your loss prevention employee handles a robber
I remember when I worked retail we had to sign a form saying if we did anything to prevent a robbery or chased a robber regardless of what happened (even if it went perfectly), we would be immediately terminated. As a naive 18yr old kid I didn’t understand, even after the store manager says that if we chase the robber and he breaks his leg the store will be held liable for the injury So rather than be liable for the poor robber’s broken leg, they’d rather just have their stores gutted to the point of going out of business. Because that’s better The other problem is that CA changed the law to make any theft of below like $900 a misdemeanor and almost never prosecuted. So it was a free for all after that pretty much Fix those 2 things and you can solve a lot of the problem
