Default Choose your own adventure quake

Welcome to our, Choose your Own Adventure quake!
Due to overwhelming popularity, we’re bringing this event back with a few tweaks.

The rules are simple.
  1. You kill any raid mob to start and then you can claim your next target.
  2. You get a one-hour lockout to that target that no one else is allowed to touch.
  3. During your lockout period, refrain from engaging and eliminating targets other than your designated one. Upon successfully eliminating your current target, you claim the subsequent target in sequence until all raid targets are dealt with.
  4. Exception is that you can’t claim Vulak. Special Vulak rules below.
  5. Use Speaker Only to post your kills and the target you're claiming next.
  6. You can't claim a target that is engaged.
  7. You can't claim targets that aren't up. This includes triggered mobs.
  8. This event will start when the next quake hits.
  9. In the event of additional Quakes, your current locked target becomes null. Meaning you can go and kill any target to start the claim process over again. If you are currently engaged, you may continue that engage and once killed, you may claim a new target.
  10. In the event that you find it necessary to concede a target, a brief 30-minute timeout period is required before you can select a fresh target.

Alliances and Teamups!
You may team up with other guilds. There’s two ways to do this.

Be part of an established alliance, such as Sanctum.
  • This is intended for guilds that may only have a few members from smaller guilds that work together. This alliance is bonded for the entire event.
OR
  • Guilds can team up for a target even if they were otherwise killing previous targets independently..
  • All teaming up guilds must be eligible for that target.
  • All guilds must be out of combat at the time of picking the team up target.
  • When picking a target you must announce which guilds will be teaming up.
  • Once the target is dead, any participating guilds are eligible for independent targets.
  • Participating teamed up guilds must show good-faith effort in contributing to the team up.

Vulak will be handled as a Reverse Auction after he is unlocked.
  • To be eligible for a Vulak bid, you must have killed at least 5 other raid targets, one of those must be a North TOV dragon..
  • Eligible alliances/guilds will have a chance to bid the LOWEST number they feel they can kill Vulak with.
  • Alliances and team ups are permitted. But when placing your bid please state who you are bidding for. All guilds in a team up must be eligible.
  • A warning that Vulak is unlocked must be announced in Speaker Only, after 5 minutes of this message bidding will take place for 30 seconds at the start of the first bid.
  • A single representative from each alliance/guild will post their bids in the Speaker Only channel, you may cast more than one bid in the allotted time.
  • Once winners are announced, the winning alliance/guild will go first. If they wipe, the next guild will go and so on.
  • Eligible guilds do not have to return back to zone in after the last blocker is killed, but it’s expected that all forces be aware of eachother’s locations and give the attempting guild space.
  • There will not be a time limit, but we don’t want to see a guild wasting time and delaying their engage. Staff may choose to DQ a guild that appears to be delaying their engage.
  • FTE/Stall rules do not apply.
  • If we extend beyond 3 AM EST, you can resume after NOON that day.
  • If no guilds/alliances are able to kill Vulak, You may try again with +5 your original bid in the original order.

Event ends when Vulak is dead.
