I heard about these things called lakes once.

And I also heard that they have these man made lakes where they grow fish to sell, its sort of like a farm.
Just because Captain Murphy is awesome doesn't mean you're right. The so-called "fish" in lakes and rivers or not actual fish. "Freshwater fish" is a colloquial term for amphibians and sometimes even reptiles that was first used in the Deep South.

Lojik did sort of get me with the flying fish comment .... except those went extinct over 3,000 years ago and [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Are you trying to tell me that there are no fish that live in fresh water?

Although they are called fish seeds, they are actually pre-fertilized eggs. It's not at all like farming, and you know nothing at all about fish.

I will be in my garden hatching tomato's if anyone needs me.

LOL you see any of the more recent news publications that actually telling us that "small amounts of mercury are GOOD for us" now?

Such ridiculous fucking propaganda. It doesn't even matter at this point. Either there's gonna be some REVOLUTIONARY new GMO science, that actually bring health BENEFITS to people and other organisms, or our kid's kid's aren't gonna have anything to eat.

Was reading another article the other day talking about a new species of genetically engineered salmon. The company was trying to get clearance to release them to the wild to spawn. Scientists were explaining how, since the salmon are so genetically superior to all other SALMON on the planet (having been cross-bred with various types of much heartier, open ocean fish) they would effectively extinct all other species of salmon.

As well as who knows how many other species of fish.

GMO fish cure cancer but unfortunately give you AIDS.
GM fish, apparently, will eventually extinct all natural fish in the world if they're released to the wild.

This also appears to be the case with many other GMOs (both plant AND animal.) Now keep in mind these NEW GMOs are all being patented.

So, in theory, a couple centuries from now major corporations may literally OWN every plant and animal on the planet.
