I was on TLP doing Sav/Sage/Exe and some dickheads took my camp with their box/group.

So I went back and rooted one of the dars down below the bloodthirsty and ran back to the zoneline ITU (where I could see through the wall to my train and the group that stole my camp.)

After root broke the frog pulled the whole place as it slowly made its way hopping around getting bigger and bigger and when it just past the group I zoned, and zoned back in just in time to see it finishing off their last of their group.

TLP is awesome.

I trained somebody at grik once because I hold a major grudge and I remembered that two years prior this dude elf lawyered me out of efreeti camp cause I was afk for 2 minutes medding while he was up.

Pulled cab guard with lev on, ran high in the sky with guard chasing at max distance without leashing, ran past grik camp to dirty the guy on the guard chasing me. Gate. Checked /who all swamp annnnnd he's in FV suddenly, I don't know why. Loaded my warrior camped at grik.

I hate griefing, and most training is griefing, but ethical training in pve EQ is oh so satisfying.

Lol. You can't leave us hanging, what happened when he got back to the camp and you were there?

I started streaming just so I would have VOD proof of what happened in game during the early days of P99 Green because people would always lie about crap. People would be stealing my mobs from our camp and taunting us about it, and then when we started stealing them back, the other group calls the GM and we're the ones getting blamed for toxic behavior etc. Granted the GM was cool about it and I don't even think I got a warning or anything, but you could tell he really thought we were the instigators. Same player later got banned for something completely unrelated, but man, it sure would have been nice to have had that recorded, right?

I even caught some "popular" people blatantly boxing but it was my word against theirs since I had no proof.

The final straw for me was when a friend of mine got banned because he was camping the priest in UR. Some high elf enchanter shows up after he's been there for hours, priest spawns, and the high elf enchanter starts typing "please stop!!! this is camped" while he is killing the priest. High elf enchanter then shares a video of that happening, and my friend is banned for killing the priest. Fortunately my friend was recording the same instance, and got unbanned when he sent GMs the full video.

But after that I decided to always stream just so I have evidence. Because honestly I'm not a toxic player, and I don't intentionally break the rules or treat other people poorly. I try to be as nice and friendly as I can to other people, and sometimes I do make mistakes and accidentally train other people, but it's never on purpose, so I don't have much to hide.

But playing without video evidence seems really high risk because the most toxic players really do be out here lying and trying to get innocent people in trouble. Actually sickening.

And also I'm not a jerk. If my group is slacking and we're not even clearing content, I don't really care if other groups snag a mob or two here or there, but usually it's the other way around, lol. Like IDK, dude.

IDK how people play pullers in this game without snapping. I remember playing an SK and I'm always OOM because between pulling and DPS'ing, I don't have time to meditate, so I might as well have been a warrior. Half the time I get back to my group 50% of the people are AFK so it feels like I'm literally just solo'ing the game, and then other groups start stealing my mobs, making me even more frustrated that my group just kind of sits there lazily rather than getting up and helping me secure our camp.

This is going to make me sound really toxic, but this is a recurring theme on TLPs. The game actually feels like PVP because of how hostile players can be to each other. Like when someone kills me on WoW I don't take it as personal as when someone parks right in front of my camp and starts taking our mobs.

So on TLP I literally just log on my main and start killing everything in the camp. Even on Oakwynd where encounters were locked I was so fast that I could get the mobs before them. But you know what is even more funny? On Oakwynd, you can lock a mob encounter as an Enchanter by simply lulling or mezzing a mob, so I would literally just wander around someone's camp mezzing and lulling all the mobs so they couldn't aggro or pull them.

And again, I'm not toxic, I literally only do this to people who move into my camp and try to kick me out. I remember logging onto a level 60 rogue at UR fireplace and killing everything after a PL group just moved in, sat down in front of us, and took over. I just started double backstabbing and slaughtering the entire zone so they could get no exp, literally KS'ing, because it's legal.

A few weeks go by, and some of those players are finally high enough level to group with me and they are like omfg i'll never group with that guy, he's the most toxic person I've ever met on here. And I'm genuinely baffled by their lack of self awareness. Like you come to our camp, take over with high level 60s buffing you and crap, and then start making fun of us when we complain, so when I swap to my main and do the same thing back to you, I'm the toxic player???

It's totally like you describe! It is like a pvp server [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

You either become friends with the botters and they buff/rez you whenever you need, or they take your camps.

Just like PVP ha
